Jesse Jackson Jr: Obama Has Fought NRA 'Every Step of the Way

President Obama's election troubles just got a little more complicated. Now his own allies are running ads that can alienate people...and they're ads that are meant to make him out to be the good guy! In this case, the troublemaker is an ad running in Illinois for a redistricting race that pits Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr. against Rep. Debbie Halvorson. The ad specifically praises Obama for fighting pro-gun groups like the NRA "every step of the way" and attacks Halvorson for siding with the Republicans. Watch below:

The ad features an African American woman speaking to the camera and accusing Rep. Halvorson of being complicit in the death of her son (who was shot) because she voted against unidentified gun control laws. She ends with the line, "Please don't let my son die in vain."
