Students stay in school to teach about things they've never actually done

This post on Gawker reminds me of a conversation I had last night. And by "conversation" I mean the one I had in my head after someone introduced themselves to me and said she graduated from college as a double major in photography and psychology. (No, she wasn't with OWS.)

...I wanted to tell her I'm sorry Instagram rendered her "degree" in photography obsolete.
