A typo is one thing but a typo produced in mass quantities, sent out to college students and possibly seen by those students' parents is another.
The University of Texas' Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs accidentally printed off a set of 2012 commencement programs distributed to students on Saturday. The problem: "Public" was missing the "l" and "Pubic" was printed instead.
"Obviously, we are mortified. It’s beyond embarrassing,” said Susan Binford, the school's assistant dean for communications. "As soon as we realized the mistake, everybody went into overdrive and we went to work to reprint it.”
