As noted by Becket Adamson the front side of things President Barack Obama said during a press conference today "the private sector is doing fine."
You can imagine Mitt Romney immediately giggling with glee at this precious political opportunity. And he sort of did.
"He said the private sector is doing fine," Romney said during a campaign rally in Council Bluffs. "Is he really that out of touch? I think he's really defining what it means to be out of touch with reality."
This is so, so familiar.

Today of all days, John McCain’s stubborn insistence that the ‘fundamentals of the economy are strong’ shows that he is disturbingly out of touch with what’s going in the lives of ordinary Americans.
