Here's the Video of Harry Reid Using 'Clown' and 'Bro' to Shoot Down a Reporter

"I don't want to answer that question."

You'll never, ever again be able to accuse Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) of not being hip.

The Senate Majority Leader pulled a pop culture reference out of nowhere today in order to stonewall a reporter who asked him a question. In response he -- with a straight face -- said, "I don't want to answer that question. That's a clown question, bro."

Politico captured the response:

So why is it a pop culture reference? Well, just last week Washington Nationals baseball phenom Bryce Harper used the response to swat away a reporter who asked the 19-year-old what his favorite beer was while he was playing the Blue Jays in Canada:

According to USA Today, the exchange between Reid and the reporter was regarding immigration:

Reid was being asked to respond to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell's comment that he's waiting for Mitt Romney to weigh in on the DREAM Act, the legislation that would create legal status for some children of illegal immigrants. Reid also was asked if he had any intention of bringing up the DREAM Act for a vote to get senators on the record.
