Real News From The Blaze': President Obama Pitches Tax 'Fairness

Looking to possibly steer the national political discussion away from Friday's disappointing jobs report, President Barack Obama asked Congress Monday to approve an extension of the Bush-era tax cuts to only those families making less than $250K a year in an effort to alleviate the pain of the middle class and shift the election focus to “tax fairness.”

On "Real News" Monday the panel discussed this proposal and President Obama's frequent use and understanding of the word "fairness" when it comes to tax policy. "Change," which Obama campaigned heavily on in 2008, does not appear to be what Americans expected as recent polling figures show that likely voters believe the president’s first term has transformed the nation in a negative way.
