Rep. Louie Gohmert Discusses Entitlement Reform on 'Wilkow'

Since Mitt Romney's pick of Rep. Paul Ryan to be his running mate, Democrats have made it clear that they plan to emphasize medicare as a major issue for elections this fall, as House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi did during an interview with CNN Sunday. Democrats attack Paul Ryan's budget plan as ending Medicare as we know it while giving tax breaks to the rich, Republicans argue that Ryan's plan (which Mitt Romney has made clear he would not exactly replicate) would save the program, and once Americans learn and see the changes to Medicare that Ryan proposes in action, they will be less open to Democratic attacks the GOP labels as scare tactics.
