I watch Nicholas Sparks movies -- not because I'm white, but because they are awesome.
Although I could understand how someone such as yourself may not relate much to characters who tend to be wholesome and virtuous, Nicholas Sparks movies give me hope (albeit based on fiction) that there are good, decent men out there who are, well, not like you. (And don't try and tell me you didn't cry like a baby at the end of The Notebook.) Black, white, brown or purple; I don't care what color you are. That was just some seriously moving stuff.
Sincerely,
Meredith
