ABC News on Tuesday teased a preview of President Barack Obama's exclusive interview with George Stephanopoulos, which will air Wendesday on "Good Morning America." In the interview, Obama said he has no interest in balancing the federal government's budget just for the sake of doing so.

"My goal is not to chase a balanced budget just for the sake of balance,” Obama said. "My goal is, how do we grow the economy, put people back to work. And if we do that we are going to be bringing in more revenue."

The short one-minute clip also shows the president criticizing Rep. Paul Ryan's (R-Wis.) proposed budget. Referencing Ryan's plan, Obama said the country shouldn't balance its budget "on the backs of the poor, the elderly, students who need loans, families that have disabled kids."

"That's not the way to balance our budget," he added.

If you want to watch Obama's full interview with Stephanopoulos, tune into Wednesday's edition of "Good Morning America" or "Nightline."
