Joe Biden's ideal pick for the Supreme Court? Janet Napolitano.
“I think Janet should be in the Supreme Court of the United States,” Biden said Friday, as quoted by Politico. He was speaking at Napolitano's going away ceremony as she departs as homeland security secretary to head the University of California system.

The room burst into applause at Biden's statement.
Napolitano's name surfaced as a possible replacement for retired Supreme Court Justices David Souter and John Paul Stevens. President Barack Obama ultimately tapped Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan, respectively.
