Words Can't Fully Describe Richard Simmons' Appearance in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

“I’m sorry everybody, I know he’s happily married.”

The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is a tradition for many. It's a time that families gather around to enjoy the start of the Christmas season. It's a fun-filled time that's generally devoid of anything (too) odd or even slightly scary.

Richard Simmons seemed to have changed that this year.

The wildly gregarious fitness figure made an appearance in the 2013 procession, and got a cursory mention on NBC's Thursday telecast. "I want you to sit down," a slightly uncomfortable Cavuto shot back.

“I’m sorry everybody, I know he’s happily married.” Simmons joked.

“I’ve had a number of guests...and usually they do want to climb over the desk to hit me,” Cavuto quipped back.

"I love you unconditionally," Simmons said.

Later he gave a Dr. Phil impression and previewed his parade appearance:
