The liberal Media Matters has a look at the guests booked from Oct. 7-Nov. 29 on both Fox News's 10 p.m. show "Hannity" which was formerly in the 9 p.m. slot and "The Kelly File," now occupying that hour.
By their analysis, Megyn Kelly, who is generally a straight news anchor at Fox, has booked slightly more conservative guests than Sean Hannity, a self-identified conservative.
What does this mean? Not much...
Given that Kelly isn't anywhere near the political firebrand that Hannity is, booking slightly more (6 percent) conservative guests seems negligible. Hannity has a show to push a specific point of view. Kelly, even if she is right-leaning, challenges her guests whether they're conservative or liberal. One example: Her interview with Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Kan.) over some Congressional Republicans' tactics in shutting down the federal government.
