Chris Matthews Embarks on Angry Tirade Against Glenn Beck & Mark Levin — and You'll Never Guess Who He Compared Them to

"The people calling the shots are the loudest, angriest, nastiest voices in the right wing media."

MSNBC host Chris Matthews on Friday unleashed on Mark Levin and Glenn Beck in a passionate tirade, comparing the two conservative talk show hosts' behavior to that of North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.

"You've heard the news from North Korea — how the young head of that country just executed his guardian uncle," Matthews said. "Well, back here in America, the right wing is acting if not as brutally, certainly as crazily."

"Radio man Mark Levin denounced today Speaker John Boehner as utterly feckless — that means weak — for backing that little budget deal and trying to avoid another government shutdown," he continued.

The MSNBC host then directed his ire at Glenn Beck.

"Glenn Beck condemns the Republican Speaker as not just a liberal, but get this — he's calling him a progressive," Matthews said. "Oh my God."

"Acting like the king of the crazies Beck then says Ted Cruz is being a good right wing boy and opposing the budget deal in the Senate — because, I can't believe the way he says this because — quote: 'He did what we told him to.' We, Glenn Beck and company," Matthews continued.

"So now the cat is out of the bad," he added. "The people calling the shots are the loudest, angriest, nastiest voices in the right wing media."

Matthews concluded his segment saying more moderate Republicans are "scared to death" that the "Mark Levins and the Glenn Becks" will "finger them for destruction the way Kim Jong Il, or Kim Jong Un rather, just fingered his unsuspecting old guardian uncle."
