We were wowed last month when competitive eater Molly Schuyler downed a 12-pound sandwich, a pound of fries and a large soda in under 60 minutes.
But her latest feat has us a little more than wowed. It has us wondering whether the 120-pound mother of four has special powers.
Schuyler on Jan. 3 managed to put away a 72-ounce steak at the Sayler's Old Country Kitchen in Portland, Ore., in just under three minutes.
“The restaurant boasts the 72-ounce steak challenge, which requires the contestant not leave the table and eat the monstrous steak along with two celery sticks, two carrot sticks, two pickles, a salad, 10 french fries, a baked potato and a slice of bread in an hour,” the New York Daily News reported.
And she did it all in under three minutes.
You know what that means, right? It means Peter Czerwinski's Guinness World Record for steak-eating (six minutes and 48 seconds) has been absolutely destroyed by Schuyler.
We don’t know how she does it, but we don’t question her powers.
“(It’s) an unexplained phenomenon; I was just born that way. I started doing this about a year ago, and I guess it’s like a stupid human trick,” she once said in an interview with KPTV-TV, adding that she only recently started eating competitively.
You can see her demolish the steak here (although we suggest you avoid the video if you’re eating):
