A highly disturbing video featuring an Arabic-speaking man wearing a Nazi armband and a Guy Fawkes mask who introduces graphic images of victims of the Nazi Holocaust was uploaded to the Internet as an in-your-face warning to Jews.
“We remind you of what the leader Hitler did to you. The time will come when we annihilate you all,” reads the text posted along with the video.
The man dressed in an Arab robe and headdress bizarrely began his threat with the greeting “Assalam Alaikum” which translates to "peace be upon you.”
“Assalam Alaikum and [Allah's] mercy upon you. We, the Arab Nazis, remind the Jews of what the leader [Hitler] did,” he said.
Two minutes of extremely graphic images from the World War II genocide of European Jews including emaciated naked bodies were then shown, along with the subtitle "nazi arab."
“You shall taste worse torment than what Hitler did to you, and more terrible than the Jewish Holocaust. You shall see hell before you, and shall desire death, but will not get it,” the man said.
He concluded with a Nazi salute and the phrase “Heil Hitler!”
The video was uploaded to the Internet on Tuesday and has now been translated to English by the Middle East Media Research Institute.
It’s not only the anonymous activist making a connection between Nazi Germany and the Arab world. Last month, a senior Palestinian official told Russia’s RT television that the Palestinians were “enthusiastic supporters of Germany” during World War II.
Senior Palestine Liberation Organization official Farouq Qaddoumi said it was a “common” position among Palestinians at the time.
Among the vocal Arab supporters of Adolf Hitler was Hajj Amin Al-Husseini, the Mufti of Jerusalem during the British Mandate that controlled Palestine before 1948. The Arab leader Husseini recruited Muslims for the Waffen-SS and met with Hitler.
