Biggest Knife in the Back': What the U.S. Did Yesterday to Israel Has Glenn Beck Furious

"You're choking Israel to death."

Glenn Beck on Wednesday tore into the Obama administration for plunging "the biggest knife in the back of Israel" with the FAA's temporary flight ban to the country.

"They gave a win to Hamas," Beck said on his radio program. "If you stop the airlines from going to Tel Aviv, you're choking Israel to death. This was a 24-hour suspension without any kind of investigation at all, and what they are doing is they are sending Israel a message."

Shortly after Beck got off the air, the FAA extended its original 24-hour flight ban an additional 24 hours. The Israeli transportation minister called the move in general a “prize to terror,” and the Israeli media called it an “air blockade” and a “boycott.”

Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg was so opposed to the ban that he flew to Israel on El Al, an Israeli airline, in protest.

Beck said that if he hadn't seen how "anti-Israel" President Obama's actions have been throughout the past six years, he would believe that the U.S. government has information about a planned attack that it is not sharing.

But, since the president repeatedly states that he gets information on breaking events from the news, Beck said he doubts this is anything of the sort.

In fact, Beck said that if Hamas is able to take down a passenger jet, the media and the Obama administration would likely blame Israel.

"You might say that's counter-intuitive. ... Let's think this through," Beck began. "I contend that already the media would have blamed Israel, but now that there's been an FAA moratorium and the FAA is saying, 'Hey, we're a little concerned about planes flying into Israel,' what have they done? They have just set Israel up."

"If, God forbid, something does happen, Israel would get the blame, because the president and everybody else would say, 'See, they should have known better,'" Beck continued. "That's where it starts. But believe me, it quickly devolves into, 'It's the greedy Jew. All he wanted was his capitalist money, all he wanted was those planes coming in.'"

Beck said America is "equating violence with violence" by "lecturing" Israel about peace.

"I heard this argument yesterday, I think it's great," Beck said. "It's as if somebody who is trying to stop a rapist, that their violence is equal to the violence of the rapist. No, no. That's not the way it works."

Beck concluded with a strong message of support for Israel.

"We're not going to come over and fight your wars, but Israel, you don't need anybody to fight your wars," Beck said. "Here's what I can offer: my prayers and my support. And I wish my country would support you, but don't think that our country is our government. It's not."

Beck said if America was in the same situation as Israel, and Canada was doing all it could to wipe America off the map, we would have bombed them "into the stone age" years ago.

"Our rage would have bombed Canada into the stone age, but I've never seen Israel act out in rage," Beck said. "Boy, you have had reason. But you don't."

Beck said he wants to launch another initiative through his charity, Mercury One, to help Israel in its time of need. His charity has already built hospitals that serve both Palestinians and Israelis, but the new initiative will go towards the Israeli military.

"We are sending supplies for your military, for your sons and daughters, who have been called into action and need flashlights, need blankets, need tents," Beck said. "Mercury One will deliver them. Quite honestly, I am thinking about delivering them myself this weekend."

"Israel, you are not alone," Beck said. "God speed. God bless, and forgive us, for we know not what we do."
