This might sound like the beginning of a bad joke — a SUV, truck and pedestrian are all trying to cross the road — but it's actually the scene of a meeting that was caught on a Russian dashcam.

The SUV with its signal flashing eased its way into the center turn lane and might have thought it could out-drive the dump truck speeding toward it, but, of course, the inevitable happened. The two vehicles crashed all while a man was standing in the middle of the road — cue a moment of suspense for the fate of the pedestrian.

Amazingly, the pedestrian walked away from the scene unscathed, looking at himself in disbelief for a moment.
