When a Disruptive Michael Brown Protest Put Him at Risk of Losing His Job, He Got Out of His Car and Had This to Say

Wow.

Demonstrators protesting a grand jury’s decision not to indict Ferguson officer Darren Wilson in the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown brought San Diego’s I-5 to a halt as many residents were on their way to work Wednesday morning.

One frustrated driver, at risk of being late to work, got out of his car and confronted the protesters and urged them to think carefully about whether their actions are doing more harm than good.

“I got to go to Ross right now, homie. If I don’t get there, I’m going to get fired. I’ve got six f***ing kids to feed, homie,” Tyree Landrum said. “Motherf***ers get shot every f***ing day. Deal with it the right way, not like this.”

Landrum then actually took a bullhorn away from one of the student protesters and tried convincing the group to end the protest so hardworking people’s jobs aren’t put at risk.

Another woman told KGTV that "doctors and nurses that have to save lives here" and the disruptive protest is not helping anyone.

California Highway Patrol and San Diego police officers were reportedly able to shut down the demonstration after about half and hour.
