Police: Fan Suffers Serious Injuries in Fall at Broncos Game

The injuries were to the fan's head.

DENVER (TheBlaze/AP) — Denver Police say a man was transported to a hospital with serious injuries after falling over a railing at the start of the Denver Broncos game Sunday.

The man, who wasn't identified, fell about 15 or 16 feet in the west stands in what appeared to be an accident. The Denver Police said he was in critical condition, but did not disclose the nature of the injuries.

KMGH-TV reported that the injuries were to the fan's head, adding that police said no one else was involved or hurt.

Late last month, a baseball fan in Atlanta died after falling from the upper deck at Turner Field in a game between the Braves and New York Yankees.
