Teen Actress’ Major ‘Role Model’ Message to Kim Kardashian About Her Nude Selfie Goes Viral

Actress Chloe Moretz had a message for Kim Kardashian after the reality TV star made headlines on Monday for posting a naked selfie to social media, seemingly questioning whether Kardashian knows the importance of showing young women that they are more than their bodies.

"I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than just our bodies," Moretz, star of "Carrie" and "If I Stay," wrote in a tweet addressed directly to Kardashian.

But Kardashian wasn't willing to let the comment go without pushing back, responding to the 19-year-old with a sarcastic message: "Let's all welcome @ChloeGMoretz to twitter, since no one knows who she is. your nylon cover is cute boo."

The tweets that were part of the spat were shared tens of thousands of times, with Moretz concluding with a message about respecting the platforms that celebrities are given.

"There's a huge difference in respecting the platform that you're given as a celebrity and 'slut shaming,' something I never have done and would never do," the actress wrote.

The Daily Mail likened Moretz's critique of Kardashian to essentially calling the reality TV star to "be a better role model."

Kardashian also hit back at Bette Midler, who had taken to Twitter to quip about the reality star's naked selfie, joking that Kardashian would need to "swallow the camera" if she wanted to show the world "part of her we've never seen."

Kardashian wasn't pleased with Midler's comments either.
