Defiant Belgian Citizens Take a Stand Against Terror With Inspirational Chalk Messages

Following a series of deadly terror attacks in Brussels Tuesday, defiant Belgian citizens left messages of hope and inspiration in chalk at a public square.

“People gathered at the Brussels stock exchange. Messages are written in the street,” Len Buggenhout tweeted in Dutch, according to the New York Times.
The citizens left condolences and prayer intentions for the city.
