Check Out the Reaction When U.S. Army Humvees Break From Their Parachutes and Plummet to the Ground

"Oh, yes!"

BERLIN (TheBlaze/AP) — Video footage of a U.S. Army airborne exercise in Germany shows a Humvee breaking free of its parachute rigging and plummeting to the ground — followed by another, then another.

By Friday afternoon, the video, which was posted on the Facebook page "U.S. Army W.T.F.! Moments," had more than 1.6 million views.

The scene begins peacefully as equipment is dropped by parachute from planes with the 173rd Airborne Brigade during the April 11 drill.

Witnesses watching and filming the drill then react with excitement as the first Humvee breaks free and drops.

"Oh, yes!" someone yells.

The Humvee mishap is followed by a second, then a third, as onlookers can be heard bursting into laughter.

The Army said nobody was hurt, and it's investigating what went wrong — and who shot the video.
