A Facebook live-stream showing a Texas woman try on a Chewbacca mask in a Kohls parking lot took the Internet by storm Friday, amassing more than 69 million views and 1.8 million shares.
In fact, according to Tech Insider, the video of 37-year-old Candace Payne showing off the "Star Wars" toy became the most-watched Facebook live-stream ever.
Kohls told Forbes that the mask showcased by Payne quickly sold out online after the video went viral.
"That's just crazy," Payne told the BBC. "I'm just laughing — in all honesty, that is ridiculous. I've looked at the number of views and it just seems like someone is just playing with a calculator."
Before Payne smashed the record, the most viewed Facebook Live video was of two BuzzFeed employees exploding a watermelon with rubber bands.
