‘Wow’: Planned Parenthood Excoriated Over Response to Trump ‘Kicking Out’ Crying Baby
August 02, 2016
"Gruesome."
Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider, took to Twitter to criticize Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump for asking the mother of a crying baby to leave a campaign rally Tuesday.
And they were promptly excoriated on social media:
Add babies to the list of people @realDonaldTrump would kick out of his campaign rallies. https://t.co/UaqVpv35bd

Can someone explain to the intern running @PPact's handle what their organization does to babies? https://t.co/zBJIRqtNm1

Planned Parenthood objects to anti-baby hostility. Beyond parody: https://t.co/SzXbvkjA4H

At his rally in Ashburn, Virginia, Tuesday, Trump encouraged the mother of a crying baby not to “worry" about taking her crying child outside before telling her, “Actually, I was only kidding, you can get the baby out of here,” a moment later.
Planned Parenthood Action Fund has endorsed Trump's rival, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary
Clinton, and is campaigning on her behalf.
Watch the moment from Trump's rally below:
As baby cries during rally, Trump first says "I love babies," then "Kidding, you can get the baby out of here." https://t.co/FhVeiFAelU
