Don't expect to see comedian and talk show host Chelsea Handler interviewing first lady Melania Trump anytime soon.
Handler, who ardently supported Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in the election, unequivocally told Variety that she wouldn't have President Donald Trump on her show, even if he asked. And his wife, too, would not be welcome.
"Melania? To talk about what? She can barely speak English," Handler said when asked.
A native of Slovenia, Melania Trump speaks four other languages aside from Slovene: English, French, German and Serbian.
When asked about what she thought of Melania Trump as the first lady, Handler said, "Exactly what I think of the first man — nothing."
"I don't respect any one of those people," she said.
Handler added that Donald Trump is the "grossest physically, emotionally [and] mentally."
Handler also discussed her involvement leading the Women's March at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. More than 1 million people marched nationwide Saturday — especially in Washington, D.C. — to support women's rights and other minorities.
As a woman, Handler said the issue she is most concerned about is Planned Parenthood:
No one has any right to tell us what to do with our bodies. That is not okay.
You get off of your religious bulls**t soapbox. I am my own person. No man gets to tell me what to do with my body. No one. Not your husband, not your politician. Why would somebody I don't know tell me what to do? This is America.
People who have no where to go, go to Planned Parenthood. I went there through my teenage years. It's not just about abortions; it's about birth control. You don't want us to have abortions, and you don't want us to have birth control? What do you think is going to happen there?
