Argentina man poses as 11-year-old daughter online, confronts and beats up pedophile stalking her

An Argentina father pretended to be his 11-year-old daughter online so he could find and beat up the man who was sending her inappropriate photos and messages, Fox News reported.

Walter Rodriguez told media company El Pais that a 29-year-old man named German Acosta was pursuing his daughter via the instant messenger WhatsApp. Acosta allegedly asked the girl to send him photos of her undergarments and sent her sexually explicit messages and photos.

In a text message to Acosta, the pre-teen indicated she was a virgin, and Acosta replied: “That’s great.”

He also demanded to meet her, reports state.

Acosta did get a meeting, but it was the girl's very angry father. Rodriguez posed as his daughter online and arranged a "date" with Acosta.

“First he wanted to have the date at his house and I told him yes, of course, because I was going to kill him,” Rodriguez told media. “He would open the door and I would kill him.”

But Acosta allegedly decided on a meeting in Buenos Aires.

After Rodriguez pummeled the man, he posted photos of Acosta's bloodied face on social media.

“This son of a b***h is a pervert. He sent photos to my 11-year-old daughter,” Rodriguez wrote in a Facebook post. He also shared screenshots of text messages between his daughter and Acosta.

The posts were later removed.

Were criminal charges filed?

Both men are facing charges but were not detained, according to reports. Rodriguez was charged with battery charge and Acosta was charged with “online harassment and grooming – the crime of befriending a child to lure them to perform sexual acts.”

Rodriguez told media Acosta should have been jailed.

“I made my statement before a judge. I told them everything, how it happened, I showed them the screenshots, what he had been sending to my little girl,” Rodriguez said. “I don’t understand why they let him go. A person like this doesn’t deserve to be free.”

Under Argentina laws, prison sentences for contacting a minor online or through phone messages range from six months to four years, the reports state.
