Democrats keep bringing up alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election. Mike Slater asserted that this is an "entirely made up construction" on "The Mike Slater Show" this weekend.
Citing the book "Shattered," which discusses Hillary Clinton's failed presidential campagin, he said the Russia narrative was concocted within 24 hours after she lost.
Now former FBI director James Comey has testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee that there is no doubt that Russian meddled in the election. He has not yet given specifics, so we don't know how.
Mike suggested a process of elimination. He said we know that Russia did not destroy the rust belt over the last 50 years, and did not force Clinton to not campaign in Wisconsin, among a number of other failures.
Russia also did not bestow nearly 100% name recognition on President Donald Trump over the past few decades. So Mike was left wondering exactly what it was that Russia did do to alter the election results.
