Dr. Jorge Rodriguez discusses Trump's likely Cabinet appointees with Mike Opelka and gives some timely holiday dietary advice to those suffering with diabetes: Avoid the carbs, and load up on the protein. This can be difficult advice to follow when holiday meals feature so many delicious, carb-filled treats, but Dr. Jorge allows for a little bit of cheating.
"On certain holiday days, you know, it's really not the time to be very stingy in what you eat," Dr. Jorge reveals. "In other words, Thanksgiving Day, enjoy yourself. Don't go crazy, but enjoy yourself with everything there. Christmas Day or Hanukkah or whatever, enjoy yourself. Now, it's the days in between that you really have to be careful."
