Buck Sexton talks about the media's coverage of what was supposed to be a landslide defeat of Donald Trump. Buck tells us in 2016 that the media was in "cheerleader mode," but in 2017 they'll be in "attack mode." He believes if Trump can weather the storm of the media throughout the primaries and the general election, there shouldn't be anything to slow him or his administration down when they take office.
However, he said it could possibly go the other way as well. "Never pick a fight with somebody who buys ink by the barrel, or in this case who has websites with lots of clicks, the media is really gonna make a go of it," Buck explains.
Buck brings up how he wants to walk around some of these newsrooms and say, "You guys realize there are some things that Trump might do that could actually be good for America." He claims it may sound naive but maybe just give it a shot and just try to give Trump a chance.
