Yaron Brook: Our ‘moral code’ that we place on money is wrong

Your life belongs only to you, not to the poor and people in need – but America’s welfare state is teaching us otherwise, Yaron Brook said on this week’s episode of “The Yaron Brook Show.”

We are taught to believe that “you should encourage the government to redistribute your wealth,” he said.

In reality, other people’s needs are not a claim on your time and money. It’s each person’s obligation to work hard, save money and get an education. You only have an obligation to yourself and to finding happiness by achieving your rational values, Yaron asserted.

“I reject the morality of altruism,” he said.
