Colonel Smith provides a Marine's perspective on Trump's top Defense Secretary target

Colonel Mark A. Smith (USMC, Ret.) joins Tomi Lahren to share his opinion of General James 'Mad Dog' Mattis, former commander of the United States Central Command, who many commentators have identified as Donald Trump's top target for Secretary of Defense. As a former Marine himself, Colonel Smith has some insightful and surprising thoughts on General Mattis and what it takes to be an effective Secretary of Defense.

"We need a Secretary of Defense that's ready to go in there and say, 'Look, you need to define what it means to rebuild the military.'" Colonel Smith explains. "And break the paradigm of that meaning more is better. More is not better. We have to look at the way, and restructure and re-engineer the way we train our young warriors, because they are capable of so much more than we are giving them."
