Glenn: GOP will be blamed when health care fails

The House GOP passed a bill yesterday they claim repeals and replaces the Affordable Care Act.

President Donald Trump vowed during his campaign to repeal Obamacare. In March, the GOP attempted to pass a health care bill that failed without enough Republican support. On Friday’s “The Glenn Beck Radio Program,” Glenn Beck warned that the new bill, which will next go to the Senate, will not fix the problem and may lead to something even worse.

He explained that Republicans are in a risky position because they took power after President Barack Obama and will seem responsible when “the chickens come home to roost” — America could go through a recession, an economic collapse and even war because of repercussions from Obama-era policies.

Glenn reminded the audience that in 2008 he predicted, “I’m not sure if you want the Republicans to be in office after Barack Obama.” On Friday’s show, he warned that the new health care bill won’t bring down premiums and Republicans will be blamed. “Everyone will say at the end, ‘We tried the great conservative fix and it failed,’” he said.

The GOP didn’t think through the new health care bill and haven’t offered real solutions, Glenn asserted. “This is not going to fix health care.”
