Rep. Richard Hudson (R-NC) joins Dana to discuss the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017 legislation he introduced, which would recognize national conceal carry. Dana mentions how groups are starting to "freak out" about the possibility and jokes how her Twitter was flooded with agitation at the bill's introduction.
Dana wants to know what Rep. Hudson plans to do with the push back from the advocacy groups that are in opposition of his legislation. She explains that they have some well put together cases of criminals illegally using guns against the bill.
"Well nobody does it better than you," Richard says. "The good news is we get to use the facts and the facts happen to be on our side. The facts are that as more people get concealed carry permits, more people carry firearms, the crime rate has dropped."
