Progressives are upset that President Donald Trump is reportedly withdrawing the U.S. from the Paris Agreement, a largely symbolic climate deal that aims to reduce emissions worldwide.
Standing in for Glenn Beck, Doc Thompson and Kris Cruz remembered their experiences at the March for Science on Thursday’s “The Glenn Beck Radio Program.”
TV host Bill Nye the Science Guy took the stage at one point, and the crowd went nuts.
“The way he was received — it was like Lady Gaga just walked in,” Kris described.
Doc agreed, saying, “He was a rockstar. It was incredible.”
The irony of the march was that people flew or drove from all over the United States to gather in Washington, D.C., obviously adding more emissions to the environment by driving or flying, Doc pointed out.
“Just you being there creates more carbon,” he said.
