Glenn Beck: the American people cannot let Bannon into the White House

Conservative radio host Glenn Beck stated on TheBlaze TV Monday evening that former executive chairman of Breitbart News, Stephen Bannon, represents a racist movement and should not be accepted into the Trump administration.  Bannon was recently named White House chief strategist to President-elect Donald Trump.

Beck, who has previously referred to Bannon as a "terrifying man," and, "the most dangerous guy in American politics," expressed that Bannon would likely run Speaker Paul Ryan out of the equation and that he is not to be trusted.  He added that Bannon represents a white supremacist view that should be rejected by the American people.

During his radio show Monday morning, Beck said, "If people really want to— in the press —would like to call Donald Trump a racist, you might want to stop on that one and just spend a little time on Bannon.  Because Bannon has a clear tie to white nationalists.  Clear tie."

He added later in the day that if the American people accept Bannon as Trump's right hand man, then essentially we are racist.

"When people really understand what the alt-right is, this neo-nationalist, neo-Nazi, white supremacy idea that Bannon is pushing hard— I hope they wake up because, if not, we are racist. If that’s what we accept and we know it, then we are racist. I contend people don’t know what the alt-right is yet," Beck said.
