New movie aims to inspire your love of history using this historical figure
September 07, 2017
In a time when constitutional rights are under attack, how will you arm yourself and your family with the truth?
Filmmaker Norm Novitsky talked about his new film, “In Search of Liberty,” and his fight to help protect the Constitution on Thursday’s “The Morning Blaze with Doc Thompson.” After becoming frustrated with today’s challenges to the Constitution, Novitsky decided to create a fun and educational movie that will give families the tools they need for learning U.S. history and defending our constitutional rights.
“It’s a family movie,” he described. “It’s a modern-day family that takes an exciting and adventurous journey with a historical figure from the past.”
Novitsky, who directed and executive-produced for “In Search of Liberty,” shared his inspiration for the film. “I was tired of people eviscerating our Constitution,” he said. “My answer was to arm the people with a learning tool.”
The family is guided through their adventures by a statesman from American history. Novitsky didn’t specify his full name but gave a tell-tale clue: “The name is Ben.”
