Romney uses MLK Day tweet to take a swing at Trump

Mitt Romney, who is privately telling his friends he'll run for the U.S. Senate seat held by outgoing Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, took a shot at President Trump's controversial alleged "shithole" comment in a tweet commemorating Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Many are wondering what kind of campaign Romney will run for U.S. Senate and what kind of senator he would be. Will he speak to the issues conservatives care about? Or will he take this Senate seat for granted and use it as a pulpit from which to criticize the president?

Given this timely opportunity to speak to Senate negotiations on DACA and the radicalism of the open-borders zealots in the Democratic Party as a government shutdown looms, it looks like Romney will be focused on virtue-signaling.

This is the senator Utah needs?
