The House of Representatives passed the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act Tuesday, which would penalize abortionists who perform abortions after 20 weeks with up to five years in prison and/or fines.
The bill now heads to the U.S. Senate, where Democrats are likely to stop the bill from reaching the 60 votes it needs to pass.
