I Stand with Police Officer Darren Wilson

Is a hero police officer being railroaded by President Obama and Eric Holder?

We are witnessing a modern-day, high tech media lynching of an innocent police officer who clearly acted in self defense.

Damn the facts. President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder are railroading an innocent man to fit their narrative of racism in America. The president needs an indictment and conviction to please his last remaining group of supporters - black Americans.

I ask my fellow Americans to do something that President Obama, Attorney General Holder, the biased liberal media and those crowds in Ferguson, Missouri don’t want to do… examine the facts.

CLAYTON, MO - AUGUST 20: Police guard the front of the Buzz Westfall Justice Center where a grand jury will begin looking at the circumstances surrounding the fatal police shooting of an unarmed teenager Michael Brown on August 20, 2014 in Clayton, Missouri. Brown was shot and killed by a Ferguson, Missouri police officer on August 9. Despite the Brown family's continued call for peaceful demonstrations, violent protests have erupted nearly every night in Ferguson since his death. Fact: The “victim” Michael Brown had just allegedly robbed a store. Not just any robbery. This was a “strong-arm robbery” involving thug-like behavior, all caught on video.

Fact: Blood tests confirm Brown had drugs in his system.

Fact: The use of force is justified if you believe your life is in danger or you are facing a person intent on doing you bodily harm.

Brown was a monster of a man, 6 feet 4 inches, 290 pounds. What would you do if a giant thug came charging at you in an attempt to run you over, knock you down and take your gun? Wouldn’t you believe your life was in danger if the man charging you had already punched you in the face and, as x-rays now prove, and broken your eye socket?

Fact: There are now a dozen witnesses who corroborate Officer Darren Wilson’s account of the story.

Fact: Wilson struggled with Brown. Brown severely beat the officer before trying to escape.

Officer Wilson followed and ordered him to stop. Brown turned and charged at Officer Wilson. The only witness claiming that Brown was shot in cold blood, with his hands up, was his criminal cohort Dorian Johnson. The media is now reporting that this lone witness to the confrontation has an outstanding warrant for theft and pleaded guilty to filing a false police report in the past.

As usual, the media has the narrative all wrong.

That Officer Wilson did not know Michael Brown had just robbed the store (if that is actually true, as we have not heard the officer's side yet) is unimportant. What is important is that Michael Brown knew. Why? Because the criminal fears being caught. He assumes the cop is pulling him over because the cop knows. The criminal is then emboldened to take aggressive and often violent action to escape the police officer.

As the early facts show, once again this rioting and national outrage is an over-zealous reaction to a police shooting that was never based on racism. It certainly appears that a police officer was defending his life from a hulking, giant thug who had already attacked him once and broken his eye socket. This police officer was just doing his job. All he wanted was to protect the town, the store owners of Ferguson and above all else, go home safely to his wife and children.

There is no end to the hypocrisy of liberals and civil libertarians up in arms about the militarization of police called in to defend taxpayers, small business and property owners from criminals, many of whom are carrying guns and other weapons.

I agree 100 percent that police forces and government agencies across America have become too militarized. We desperately need a national discussion about this topic.

Yet those same liberals and civil libertarians said nothing when armed-to-the-teeth, militarized Bureaur of Land Management agents showed up at the Cliven Bundy Ranch outside Las Vegas for a civil matter. No one there was rioting or looting. Yet the respoonse was over-the-top. I appeared on dozens of liberal radio talk shows. In each case the liberal hosts defended the use of military-style force.

Why is militarization versus violent mobs with weapons and Molotov cocktails bad… but militarization against salt-of-the-earth ranchers and taxpayers (who have never committed a violent crime in their lives) acceptable? Where were these outraged hypocrites when the Bundy Ranch was under siege by jack-booted, heavily armed government paramilitary agents?

But the hypocrisy gets much worse.

Black-on-black violence is an epidemic in America. In any given week there are 25 dead black Americans lying on the streets of one city - Chicago.

As Fox News’ Juan Williams pointed out in a recent commentary, more than 90 percent of young black men are killed not by police or white people, but by other black men. Murder is the No. 1 cause of death for black males between the ages of 15 and 34. Where are the same black leaders - including President Obama - to protest this tragedy? Where is the national outrage from the black community over thousands of black-on-black murders?

Isn’t it strange that one black man (who allegedly just committed a robbery) being shot by a white police officer causes a nationwide uproar…while thousands of black males murdered by other blacks receives a yawn?

Yet Obama, Holder, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton remain silent on this epidemic of black-on-black violence. Why? No votes to gain from that discussion?

Just last week a young Hispanic male was shot and killed by police in Salt Lake City. The police officer was black. Will this shooting result in days of protests, rioting and looting? So far, I've seen no protests. Why is it racism if a white officer shoots a suspect of color, but just fine if a black officer does? Is it possible both officers were defending their lives?

Would there be protests if a black officer had shot Michael Brown? Would there be national outrage if a black officer shot a white suspect who was charging at him, after already breaking his eye socket? Would there be rioting in the streets of Ferguson, Missouri if a black male murdered another young black male? Would Attorney General Holder be there?

Who is it that knows for a fact whenever a white police officer shoots a black male that it was based on race or hate? Yet if a black criminal happens to shoot a white person, or another black person, it's not based on race or hate. Who decided that?

It's a fact that race-based hate crime surged in Washington, D.C. last year. Almost all of that surge involved black criminals and white victims. Where is the national outrage? Where are the protests? Where is Obama?

Why has President Obama never been involved in the case of a black male shooting another black male? Or of a black police officer shooting anyone, black or white?

I, for one, stand with Officer Wilson. I will raise money for his defense if needed. I will organize protests against any attempt to prosecute this police officer, either for murder or trumped-up, politicized civil rights charges.

Have no doubt, Officer Wilson’s life and freedom are in danger. Attorney General Holder and more than 50 FBI agents have been sent for one reason - to indict Officer Darren Wilson. Not to find the truth, but to create he politically correct "truth."

It will take the silent majority of taxpaying, law-abiding, American citizens to stand together to stop an innocent hero police officer from being railroaded to satisfy political correctness and political agenda of an unpopular, embittered president with the lowest approval ratings of any president since World War II.

The real irony in this story is that Eric Holder seems intent on appointing a special prosecutor to railroad Officer Wilson, when the special prosecutor should be appointed to investigate the serious crimes of President Obama and Attorney General Holder.
