The 'Doomsday Clock' Has Pushed Me to the Brink

What's the real agenda behind those that would have us believe that climate change and human beings are destroying the world?

There are some days that just push you to the brink. Today is that day for me.

As I was perusing the news recently, I came across an article titled, “Scientists Say We’re Three Minutes from Doomsday.”

Well, you know what? The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists are about three minutes away from getting on my last nerve.

They claim that they had to move the symbolic “Doomsday Clock” ahead two minutes closer to midnight because of “the world’s failure to reduce carbon emissions, which is driving global climate change, along with modernization of the world’s nuclear arsenals.” The Clock now stands poised at three minutes until midnight.

Really?

First of all, global climate change is just that. It is change that takes place globally every day and has since the beginning of time.

Since Al Gore first began talking about global warming, before it devolved into the latest in vogue term climate change, progressives have been trying to make us believe that the world is going to stop spinning (my words, not theirs) because we as human beings are destroying the world.

Nonsense!

I side with those who believe that "Global warming, i.e. Climate Change, is not about environmental or politics. It is not a religion. It is not something you 'believe in.' It is a science; the science of meteorology,” said meteorologist John Coleman, who has been involved in forecasting the weather for approximately 50 years.

“Climate of planet Earth has been constantly changing for 4.5 billion years,” he continued, and “climate scientists, the media, environmentalists, bureaucrats, and politicians have all been thinking about climate in a wrong way for decades now.”

“We are altering the climate at spots and in minor ways through our activities, but the bottom line is that it is not changing very much and no significant climate change is occurring…There is no climate crisis,” concluded Coleman.

I choose not to support the United Nations who believes that “Climate change is not a far-off problem. It is happening now and is having very real consequences on people’s lives…disrupting national economies, costing us dearly today and even more tomorrow,” according to the group’s website.

If it were left up to the U.N. and those who take up their cause, we would all be riding our bicycles in their perfect Agenda 21 world where sustainable development rules the day and human beings need to be controlled so that the climate will never change.

Even our own country under President Barack Obama is actively involved in solving the climate change “crisis.”

Obama pledged his support for climate change pacts with both China and Peru earlier this year.

He will also attempt to side-track Congress, when he plans to enter into a legally-binding international climate change agreement in Paris during the upcoming 2015 U.N. Change Conference.

This agreement, if ratified by Congress, will compel nations to cut their planet-warming fossil fuel emissions.

Obama recently indicated that, “No challenge poses a greater threat to future generations than climate change.” He believes that the United States should lead in international efforts to protect “the one planet we’ve got.”

There are even those who believe that scientists and engineers are better equipped at telling us how to handle climate change. They are the ones, in their opinion, who are better at governing and could resolve the climate change problems with their expertise.

According to Patrick M. Wood, author of Technocracy Rising: The Trojan Horse of Global Transformation, the new control over energy would allow for the continual 24 hour-per-day registering of the total net conversion of energy and in so doing, a balanced load could be achieved.

Who better than scientists and engineers to collect and convert data into information that can be used by governments, including our own, or the U.N. to control our use of energy?

Sound futuristic? Implementation to begin resolving the climate change “dilemma” has already begun.

The Department of Energy has been involved in the process of modernizing our nation’s electrical grid and a multi-agency Smart Grid Task Force has been assigned to further the effort.

In October 2009, the Obama administration unveiled its Smart Grid plan by awarding $3.4 billion to 100 Smart Grid projects. The money was used toward installing: more than 850 sensors called “Phasor Measurement Units” to monitor the overall power grid nationwide, 200,000 smart transformers, 700 automated substations, 1,000,000 in-home displays and 345,000 load control devices in homes.

You may not have even noticed these meters being installed on your home’s existing meter. If you have heard of them, you may not be aware that many have spoken out against them mainly because of health risks they could potentially pose.

Once installed, the meter is a scientist’s or engineer’s dream. Mass amounts of information can be collected regarding the particulars of our energy use. But don’t worry, it’s not like the NSA could also use this data in the future.

The program is part of a global plan that will begin to connect us all together in the near future if it hasn’t already.

Since 2009, Italy has implemented Smart Grid technology in 85 percent of its homes nationwide. In addition, China, reportedly spent $4.3 billion in 2013 on Smart Grids and there are plenty of other countries that are also involved in the Smart Grid projects.

Additionally, Northern and Central California’s Pacific Gas & Electric Company President Chris Johns, speaking on Capitol Hill in December 2014, further solidified the move toward a greater interrelated network by referring to their Smart Grid program as the “Grid of Things,” and likening it to the “internet of things,” in which technologies from across the spectrum, from health care to homes to energy, are interconnected.

Many states other than California have also implemented the Smart Grid program.

So excuse me if I am just a little testy today as I read about the Scientist’s concerns over climate change causing the destruction of mankind and their need to push the Doomsday Clock ahead by two minutes.

It’s not climate change that we should be worried about destroying the world. It’s our government’s interference with our Constitutional rights and cohesion with U.N. policies that will ultimately rob us of our freedoms and change our country, all in the name of some made up cause for concern.

I’m tired of those that wish to draw my attention away from important matters to inconsequential ones so that while I’m focused on drivel, I won’t notice that Rome is burning.

Climate change is a natural occurrence that is being used by those wanting to further an agenda of control by trying to convince us that their restrictions are for our best interests.

Don’t fall for it. Before you start resetting your clock to match the latest doomsday prediction, educate yourself about what’s really going on.
