'Never threaten the United States again!': Trump warns Iran of 'official end' after rocket attack near US Embassy in Baghdad

'If Iran wants to fight, that will be the official end of Iran'

President Donald Trump took to Twitter on Sunday to warn Iran never to " threaten the United States again" in response to an apparent rocket attack near the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad. No casualties were reported after the attack.

"If Iran wants to fight, that will be the official end of Iran. Never threaten the United States again!" Trump tweeted.

On Monday's radio program, Pat Gray (filling in for Glenn Beck this week) admitted that the president's not-so-veiled threat "just feels good" after decades of Iranian "death-to-America rhetoric." But will Trump's tough talk actually help deter increasing hostilities toward our country, or will it push us into a full-blown war with Iran?

"Nobody wants [war with Iran] and the president has said he doesn't want that. But when your rhetoric is such that you escalate the tension ... you bring us a little bit closer to war," Pat said.
