Microscopic photography

Wired has a very interesting montage for lovers of wacky pictures and serious photography alike, featuring submissions to Nikon's Small World photomicrography contest. Over the years, photos have covered everything from bug eyes and spider fur to starfish embyros and mouse neurons.
