MSNBC Boss Reprimands Ed Schultz Over 'Fat Slob' Crack About Gov. Christie
September 29, 2010
Maybe the MSNBC management structure is starting to take to heart the news about how few Americans like to watch them. TV News is reporting that Schultz has drawn the ire of his bosses yet again by saying:
“Here’s the bottom line. What we’re seeing out of this governor of New Jersey is just go to the money, cut whoever you have to cut. There is no ramification for any of this because he’s a cold-hearted fat slob anyway."
There is no official statement from MSNBC. Just this:
TVNewser hears Schultz has been reprimanded by MSNBC president Phil Griffin.
Not that this news of the reprimand will matter much in American since 70% of Americans don't even know he exists.
TV Newser also adds:
Just last month, Schultz got a talking to from Griffin and from NBC News president Steve Capus for yelling in the newsroom, “I’m going to torch this [bleep]ing place.” Schultz was upset about not being included in promotional spots for upcoming primary election coverage.
