Earlier this week, Scott mocked me for showing my passionate love for the Packers, and told me to contemplate a Steelers Super Bowl victory. Those Steelers, he thinks, are much better than my Packers.
Well, that was true in one sense (and only one sense) until today.
See, it used to be that Steelers players were easier to recognize than Packers players. Especially safety Troy Polamalu, who makes up in a Head & Shoulders hair endorsement what he obviously lacks in talent.
But now we find out that Polamalu isn't the only defensive player with a glorious, flowing mane who can "lock" down a hair deal. Clay Matthews, the Packers linebacker who's a favorite to win the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year Award, signed on with Suave shampoo today.
So, Scott, I see your gorgeous-haired defensive stud and raise you a Super Bowl wager: If I win, readers get to photoshop you with Packers gear; if you win, they get to photoshop you with Packers gear me in Steelers gear.
Maybe you need to take two minutes of nothingness to contemplate this offer. Start with this picture:
