Allen West Explains Verbal Throwdown With CAIR Rep: 'I Won't Back Down

Rep. Allen West (R-FL) appeared on "Fox & Friends" this morning to discuss his recent verbal throwdown with a representative from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) who tried to paint West as an Islamaphobe.
In his interview with Fox on Wednesday morning, West quoted Tom Petty in explaining his reaction: "I won't back down." He also uttered some more no-nonsense words that have made him a popular speaker among conservatives, such as saying we should not play "footsy" with our enemies. That makes sense consider West is a former Army Colonel:
