Mega Math Fail: Top Teachers Union Honcho Claims $26,000/Year = $500/Month!

Randi Weingarten heads the 1.4 million member American Federation of Teachers, wielding considerable power and influence from her office in Washington DC.  This morning we learned that she probably failed Math.  From MSNBC's Morning Joe:

26,000 divided by 12 months equals 2166.66 per month.

Immediately after this exchange, Pat Buchanan asked about the recent study showing the average Wisconsin teacher's compensation valued at $100,000 per year.  Weingarten chose to dismiss these facts, instead using a broad stroke example of the national average, without addressing the very specific Wisconsin data.
