Well, this is a bad look for the Detroit-based car company. Those who follow Chrysler on twitter may have been shocked to receive a scandalously-worded tweet yesterday, which disparages the motor city. Check it out:
By the way, this is the same Chrysler that lauded its products as "imported from Detroit" in the below ad, which debuted Super Bowl Sunday, and features the foul-mouthed rapper Eminem:
The employee who sent out the R-rated tweet yesterday has since been "terminated" Chrysler has ominously reported.
This morning an inappropriate comment was issued from the Chrysler brand Twitter handle, @ChryslerAutos, via our social media agency of record, New Media Strategies (NMS). After further investigation, it was discovered that the statement was issued by an NMS employee, who has since been terminated.
Chrysler Group and its brands do not tolerate inappropriate language...
