J. Crew Blurs the gender lines in new ad

The latest ad from outfitter J. Crew is raising eyebrows and compelling many to wonder if it crosses some kind of line -- whether of normalcy, morality or decency.

The ad features an image of J. Crew president/executive creative director Jenna Lyons painting her son's toenails hot pink. The copy reads “Quality Time. ‘Lucky for me, I ended up with a boy whose favorite color is pink. Toenail painting is way more fun in neon.’”
