Barack Obama... SEXIST?

I'm no fan of Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz. And I'm definitely not a raving bra-burning female who runs around pointing the "sexist" finger at everyone who disagrees with me.  However, I think Schultz might have a considerable case against the commander in chief.

According to Obama, Democrats should be happy to have Schultz -- the new chair of the DNC -- on their side because because “she’s got a cute smile,” and should want her “in [their] foxhole” because “not only is she charming,” but she has a “dazzling smile,” and is “tough as nails.”

Can you imagine someone (other than Chris Matthews) judging the president's job performance -- or any other guy's -- based on his "cute smile"?

I'm waiting for groups like NOW and the Feminist Majority to condemn such blatant sexism.

“To Debbie Wasserman Schultz, thank you for letting me in your district,” the president said at a fundraiser held at a private home. “If you're in the foxhole, you want Debbie alongside you, because not only is she charming and has that dazzling smile, but she's tough as nails. And that’s what’s needed during challenging times.”

At another fundraiser at the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami, Obama also praised the DNC chairwoman.

“What do you guys think of our new DNC chair, Debbie Wasserman Schultz?” the president asked the audience. “We are so thrilled to have her. You want Debbie on your side. She's a mom, she’s got that cute smile and all that, but she is tough. Don’t mess with Debbie. We are so glad of her leadership.”
