What do liberal men have against conservative women?

In an interview with Human Events' Jason Mattera, one of the most eminent female conservatives around today -- Ann Coulter -- theorizes that it's women's position as society's moral caretakers that makes guys like Chris Matthews foam at the mouth with disdain.

“The hatred for a conservative woman is so much deeper than the hatred for a conservative man,” Coulter says.  And it’s because “women are the ones who pass down moral tradition and care about moral issues.”
